Red Light Winter & Burleigh Grime$ 6/24

Saw the matinee of Red Light Winter yesterday. I enjoyed the show. Christopher Denham was great. What a disturbing piece. Davis was such a pig. I also really enjoyed Lisa Joyce. Did anyone else think that Adam Brody could have played the part of Matt? I just thought of Adam Brody for some reason the whole time. I met Lisa & Christopher afterwards. They were both very nice.

From there I traveled to see if the cast of Three Penny was out. The only person out there was Cyndi Lauper. Got a nice autograph from her.

Then I ended up going and hanging outside New World Stages until Burleigh started. The show was ok. It was great to see such talented people onstage, although the show wasn't that great. Stage doored afterwards and met Wendie, Mark, John & James Badge Dale...yay! Got a great picture of John & James dueling with an umbrella, although the flash didn't go off. I am going to try to edit it in photoshop. Did take another one but they just posed regularly for that one :)

Then I headed to stage door Jersey Boys. When I saw it the majority of the ensemble didn't stop to sign because I don't think they realize people want them to sign. I really REALLY wanted to meet Dominic Nolfi. Was not to be. He must have slipped out. Did meet almost everyone else.

Last, but not least since Three Penny was closing I snagged a Playbill and went back to try to get the rest of the cast. I was successful. LONG but very worthwhile day. Hoped I haven't bored you all to pieces!

I think Adam Brody *could* play it, but he looks a little too young. I know he's the right age for the part in reality, but he hardly looks his age.

I was thinking more of the way that Chris delivered the lines. I just feel like (not lookwise) Adam would have done the lines that way. Does that make sense? LOL

Right, I know; that's why I said I think he could. Similar style. But, I think he looks too young regardless.
