This might be the best news that I've heard in quite some time! I know many people who would jump at the chance to own a legal soundtrack, myself included.

Hmmmm? Special Brownies? I don't remember ever saying that...must of been a joke I said once on the boards or something. I assure you it was not suppose to be taken litterally. The only time I have ever gotten special anything related to Reefer Madness was the cd from my friend at Showtime and my Dvd at the S.T.A.G.E Harold Arlen concert. =)

Good grief, I just followed the link I posted way-back-when to Amazon. There is one copy of the Los Angeles Reefer recording for sale for $249.99!! I guess I hold on to mine!

Anyway, I wouldn't spend $249.00 for the LA soundtrack. Hmmm, what do I know that you don't know???

Just FYI, Linda, what you have is *not* an official movie musical soundtrack, which doesn't exist yet. The one you have is probably the quickly-edited together one from the press kit in Dolby 5.1 and not in stereo (and which, by the way, is not for resale and should say so on the CD).

Kevin and I are still working on the official one and I'll be sure to let the boards right before we release it.

I was given two copies at the movie premier and just wanted to share them with two people who might like to have them. I looked at the cd and it says motion picture sountrack so I offered it out. Sorry for the confusion.

I've fallen absolutely in love with the movie musical and look forward to a soundtrack release! "Mary Jane / Mary Lane" hasn't left my head since I first heard it.

I'll be sure to tell my friends about the tentative upcoming soundtrack release.
