Sunset Blvd. (Llyod Webber/Black/Hampton) has a bunch of references to silent movie stars: John Gilbert, Douglas Fairbanks, Rudolph Valentino, Clara Bow, (Roscoe) Fatty Arbuckle, Cecil B. DeMille (technically a director, but whatever) -- just to name a few.
