Regional production of LITTLE WOMEN?

Posted: 9/26/05 at 8:07pm

The Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich, Connecticut has announced open auditions for its upcoming 2006 season. Scheduled to open in August of 2006 is the musical Little Women. If this actually happens, is it going to be the first regional production of the show? I haven't heard of any other theatres producing it.

it could be the same issue dracula is having which is different adaptations of the show being produced, and people getting confused. dracula and little women especially since they both have quite a few different musical adaptations. if the little women tour is still touring in 2006 I'm not sure a regional theatre would be able to get the rights... but then it could be... I dunno...

Ohh... I wasn't aware that there was more than one musical adaptation of it. So, perhaps they won't be producing the one the appeared on Broadway; they didn't mention who the authors of the show were. Thanks!
