Rent Commercial

Does anyone know where I can find (on the web) the Rent commercial they made a few years ago with Norbert, Jim and Wilson, etc?

(Besides Jim's website.)

I absolutely LOVE the look and feel of that commercial. Hope the movie looks like that!!

They have a few more on that same website.
They all give me chills.
White Christmas looks like so much fun (even though there arent any clips of the actual show).

This Ad agency has done such an incredible job beefing up Broadway! It's wonderful!!

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

I agree..that commercial was awesome but, I am partial to the OBC commercial they used for the angel tour. It was the actual bway obc's and JL was IN the commercial.. it was the film clips from the end of the show and then some... I wish I knew where to find THAT.

that's norbert? He looks way different. Id love to hear him sing some of those songs. I really liked the wonderful town and full monty commerical. And la boheme's almost made me want to sit through an opera.

Yeah I was a bit surprised as well that it was norbert. I honestly thought it was Adam at first. :-P Whoops.

Wow. That totally just reminded me of how much I loved Rent before it became what it is now.

I still love the actual show, just not the current production.

I don't think it's hilarious. I think it's genius and Tony Vincent was the hottest Judas ever... he's not in the commercial but he shoulda been he was in the show...

I agree, Tony should have been in the JCS ad but he jumped in last minute to replace the guy in the commercial who wasn't cutting it.

Anyone know if they played the commercial after that as is, with the old Judas, even after they replaced him with Tony V?

The thing about the JCS commercial, as odd as it might seem, is that it catches peoples attention. It tosses out the familiar songs from the show that Bob & Judy Jones from Long Island will hear and say, Oh Honey, remember when we 20 and we first saw that show... blah blah blah (or whatever). It grabs the consumer to get tickets. Love it!

The premise of the commercial was funny. Jesus walking through the streets.

Isn't the Judas in the commercial the guy that played Judas in the lastest movie?
