im going to be in NYC in a few months, and i was alway wondering how does the lottery work? like where do i go and around what time (for an evening show during the week), and its single tickets right? ill be with my sister, so there is a chance i can get in and her not?....

Posted: 12/9/05 at 9:59amIf Rent is sold out you can buy Standing Room tickets for $20 at the box office the day of the show. Be prepared to jump on those as soon as the lottery is over.

Posted: 12/9/05 at 12:33pmI won the same day as C and we had a great time together. It really just depends on luck. What I did was buy Standing Room tickets before the lotto and after I won, sold them (for face value of course) almost instantly to people who didn't win. I would suggest that idea because the standing room tix are only $20. But only do it if the show is sold out. Otherwise, you could waste your money.
