29 "Rent" songs are in today's iTunes top 100 downloaded songs.
Here's a screencap. It certainly wasn't this way two weeks ago, so I guess the movie is gathering interest! And I read that rent made 4.93 million in the first few days, beating "In the Mix" and "Yours, Mine, and Ours". I am so excited. I am seeing it for the third time tonight!

People are far to obsessed with Seasons of Love. That's great though.

~why are there two seperate listings for seasons of love at #1 and #2
is one from the b'way show and the other from the movie?

to answer your seasons of love question marquise...
one of those versions is the one from the movie soundtrack and one is the single that was released in august.

On the overall list of ALL songs, Seasons of Love is #13 and #82 (if people would just stick with one version it would have probably broken top ten!), and Out Tonight is #90.
To whoever counted the totals for Rent - you didn't include the three from the OBC that also made it.
Not too shabby!

I did too! I noticed a hell of a lot of my friends put it in their info after I made them go see it. They loved it.

Exciting! The full album is currently #4 and the highlights are #9 on the top 100 albums list on iTunes.
I didn'tbuy it there though. If anybody did buy the full album on iTunes, I would be much obliged if you could send me the PDF booklet that comes with the album. I own it, but didn't want to get it on iTunes.
