if I knew how to post pictures, I'd show how the Broadway production also often plays up the Mimi/Roger relationship as the 'leads'. I guess it's marketing in a way, but I personally wouldn't say that they play it up for the movie because it's the straight couple and they're both beautiful...many people think of Mimi and Roger as the leads, from bway and the movie. agree to disagree!
Also, I hate to dwell on it, but I still can't get over the cover...it's ok, it just looks like...it's trying too hard or something. Not that it does any good complaining about it now, i just think using either the movie poster design, the 'highlights' cd design, or just the plain Rent Bible design would have been wiser...whatever...arg

Posted: 1/29/06 at 11:46pmYes well also on the cover of Life magazine i know that they had Jesse and Idina. Yay! I love them both. There i don't think that it mattered which person was on the cover or who their character was. It was the actors. Their characters are just friends in the movie and happen to be Bi-sexual and gay.
