Repeat Attenders - the superfan documented!

Long time lurker but first time poster here. Am posting this as I can't see it mentioned anywhere else - apologies if it has been.

The makers of a documentary about repeat attenders (ie people who go and see shows multiple times) are raising money this weekend on this site:

TheatreMAD - http://www.theatremad.org.uk - a UK charity, who organise the UK version of Broadway Bares amongst other things are also backing it.

They are almost at their target and you can contribute as little as $1.50 plus there are little perks you get if you donate.

I've put some cash in and am hoping to get involved further as I think this would be a great documentary.

I'm sure it would be of interest to people here too - let's donate and get this made...

Sounds like a terrifying and amazingly entertaining movie!

It's destined to be one of my favorite horror film.

Considering it's UK based, it may be that most of those interviewed are West End repeats, not Broadway repeats....oh, I see that they do intend to come to NYC to film.

I certainly know some NYC repeaters who would be candidates (I'm just a pale imitation, just about double digits on my most frequented show).



Note to the filmmaker or webmaster for the film: The word is sought, even in the UK.
