The costumes were VERY sexy! I recently watched the Ben Vareen/William Katt DVD and the original costumes/makeup really pale next to those in the Reprise production. HOT HOT HOT for both those who prefer the ladies AND for those who prefer the gentlemen.

And that's not a valid reason to put on a show?

Sparky310, I have no idea where your remark came from. Michael Arden received unanimous rave reviews for his charismatic and extraordinarily well-sung performance as Pippin, and he kept his clothes on throughout the play. Why would the company manager ever see him naked?

Unfortuantely, Michael's shirt did NOT come off.

Please allow me to gushingly sing the praises of Mr. Arden: I was completely unfamiliar with him before Pippin. When I read he'd been casting I googled him. After distringuishing between the OTHER Michael Arden, I thought he was cute and that if he could sing, he would be ideal. When he first took stage and started Corner of the Sky, it was immediately evident that not only was the boy attractive and possessed a wondrous voice, but his charisma is blindingly magnificent. I can't wait to see what he does next.

Just wish there were more of that Arden since he was the SOUL of the show.
The chemistry between Him and Jean Kelly was wonderful.

I didn't know Sam Harris was that great of a dancer:) Yay, even MORE reason to love him....like I needed more.
