although i dont agree with it, mydreams is entitled to her opinion. and i have to say that the little lamb comment made me laugh.

bwaytheatre11--make sure you've got tissues by your side. green duck--ditto to everything you said and i love the icon! i was in it too, so if you have any questions, pm me! i played romaine and she just kicks butt!!! break a leg at your audition!

re: can you name a song about time?

May 23, 2005 — 11:05:40 PM

definitely "our time". i was in a revue and that was our closing number. it works wonderfully. you could also do "time and music" into "i feel so much spring" because, well let's face it, they're gorgeous. maybe too plot oriented.

re: Where the hell did Jason Robert Brown go?

May 23, 2005 — 11:02:17 PM

JRB-i think you are the best thing to happen to musical theatre since sliced bread...wait, that doesn't make sense. thanks for being so wonderful!!! i wish i attended USC just so i could take your classes. oh well, life goes on.

re: Last Song:DEYFYING GRAVITY

May 23, 2005 — 10:47:48 PM

for good is a two person song...how did you get a solo if you're singing it w/ the whole choir? i'm confused.

re: The College Thread...

May 21, 2005 — 5:11:30 PM

steven's right...i've talked to him about his education at julliard where he studied drama. he said that his training there taught him to use his voice properly so that he could sing as beautifully as he does. he definitely studied drama but i'm sure with voice training here and there. hope that helps!

re: Northwestern's New Musical Program

May 21, 2005 — 4:58:14 PM

re: In My Life

May 12, 2005 — 10:44:14 AM

same here...now i've got the song stuck in my head. that's not a problem though...

re: Cheesiest musical theatre songs

May 12, 2005 — 10:39:09 AM

i think people are getting confused w/ worst and cheesiest. just because a song is cheesy, it doesn't mean it's bad. mistermatt-you're so right, but i think aspiringactor meant "everything's coming up roses"...i could be wrong though. wouldn't be the first time.

re: La Cage Vs Rent

May 10, 2005 — 1:21:23 PM

the la cage revival doesn't have a recording out *yet* but i would agree with those who have said la cage. you're right when you say rent will be around for a while (even though i love that show more than life)...i would catch la cage or otherwise you may regret it when it leaves *tear*. plus, it's nominated for best revival!!!
