I am absolutely heartbroken to hear about his death. What a truly amazing talent. His set designs were legendary. And what a wonderful person. I met him when I acted as a gopher for him during his production of "Cunning Little Vixen" for Santa Fe Opera in 1975 .. I was 15. He taught me so much about the theatre. His work over the decades just got better and better. Rest in Peace. You will be missed

so sad to hear of his passing. he was an immensely talented man.

tops in his field.

whenever I saw his credit for a show or movie I just knew I was in for a treat.

one of my very favorites is the show logo he designed for the original 1972 production of 'pippin.'
