I've decided to see Light in the Piazza, and I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me of any good restaurants near Lincoln Center.

well, a LOT of places there are REALLY expensive. You might try Ollies if you like Chinese. Some other places can run you like $50 a person or more.

Go BEHIND Lincoln Center--on Amsterdam or West End Aves. There are some nice restuarants to be found there and they're not too pricey.

Ollie's is good.
If you want a nice place that is really great and not that expensive try:
Rosa Mexicana.
Expensive but worth the dollars:
Shun Lee- Try the crispy orange beef.
Budget chinese
The Westside Cottage- Very good Moo Shu and wonton soup.
Avoid the spring rolls and egg rolls as they are greasy.
ooh. The Ollie's at Lincoln Center is my favorite Ollie's!
I am seeing it tomorrow!! I will not be able to sleep tonight.
Cafe Luxembourg has always been my favorite post-Lincoln Center dining destination.
M,
I prefer Shun Lee to everything.
But, Compass is also wonderful. They just got a new Chef.

Carnegie Deli on 56th & 7th, I believe. It's not fancy dining, but the food is so tastey & enormous and the service is quick too!

yeah, everyone says that, no one ever does it... everyone chickens out.
A favorite of Jaily and me is Fiorello's which is right across the street from Lincoln center. Kind of pricey though. Cafe Mozart is also fabulous.
I agree with Corine2. Rosa Mexicana is great. The Pomegranate Margaritas alone are worth the trip.
I love those.
Phanty, you have such wonderful taste.
Mistress- Your icon of Matty Fresh is killing me.

Definitely do Rosa Mexicana. It's a little pricy but as corine2 said, its worth it. just dont have too many pomegranite margaritas before piazza!!! my dad slept thru some of it...! mmm...gourmet mexican :)
The homemade guacamole is delicious.
There aren't many inexpensive restaurants near Lincoln Center, but there's a good New York diner at 58th and 9th called the The Flame that is a quick walk up to Lincoln Center. Quite a few BWW regulars can be found there.
I LOVE the Mozart Cafe. Affordable and nice ambience.
Love the Flame...I eat there all the time.
What is The Flame's address?
