I'm sure this has been done before, but I'm new, so cut me some slack, okay? Thanks. Anyway! Which actors would you like to see return to one of their old roles? So, which actor, and which role? Mhm. Let's see how long his lasts on the first page of threads... =/

I would have liked Bernadette to return as the Witch in INTO THE WOODS a few years ago.

Speaking of Ms. Peters, she needs to get her hiney back on stage. I like her voice. Her talking voice, mind you! Her singing is good too, but I like her kind of drawl... SHe actually sings with the drawl too though.

"adam pascal as roger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

ha. Wouldn't we all?

I would've loved to see Heather Headley return to Aida. And, the OBC of Rent goes without saying, but the likelihood is so slim, it's not even worth wishing for.

Never saw Heather - saw her understudy. By the time I realized what I'd missed, it was too late.

AND NOW AIDA'S CLOSED!!! *sob*

Kind of like Bernadette, Heather sings with her little accent. I love it.

I would also have loved to see Heather as Aida. But I would love to see Kate Levering to return to the role of Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, before it closes in January. She was phenomenal.

The OBC of RENT, though it's doubtful...

Susan Egan as Belle. She was fantastic in the role, and I'd love to see her do it again!!

If Cabaret was still open, I would have wanted to see Raul Esparza or Alan Cumming play Emcee.

I'll second Bebe in Chicago. Other than that, seeing the OBC of RENT, maybe if they just got together and did it one more time (like the RENT Reunion awhile back).
Heather in AIDA

There is more but no one else is coming to mind at the time

Though scattered and divided we are still its heart...AIDA SEPTEMBER 5th, 2004...one more longing backward glance... I AM NOW "TGIF!"

I would walk across an ocean of broken glass to see the Rent OBC.

Speaking of Adam/Roger, b-way buff, don't you have some information to report? About Tarzan?

The OBC of Rent needs to get together once again, but not for the show. They are just too old for that. I'm thinking more along the lines of the benefit they did a while back, do another one at a small venue (maybe wherever Rent was off-Broadway? or maybe a club or something. Studio 54?), and record the concert/benefit for DVD. All proceeds go to AIDS and/or Marfan Syndrome research. Sounds pretty logical to me...

lol, the most critical aspect of this, of course, is the DVD

Since we would all know that it was the AMAZING OBC of RENT, we would all under stand why they all looked a little older than what the parts call for. Although, I dont really think that they look all that old. But after Daphnie dropes that baby, thn they could SOOOOO FREEKEN do it!!!re: Returning to old roles...
