I saw richar dH. Blake as Glen in TWS and I can't imagine him as Link. I'm sure he was wodnerful, but he looks way too old.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

PJ, I totally agree with you about Richard. He looked way too old to play Link and frankly I don't think he was "dreamy" enough. Andrew Rannells is a much better fit. However, Richard is EXCELLENT in the Wedding Singer. I actually disliked the show as a whole (which just proves that Hairspray and the Wedding Singer are not the same show, because I LOVE Hairspray) but Richard's performance was one of the only things about the show that I liked...well him, Kevin Calhoun, and Amy Spanger.
And yes, Hairspray is in wonderful shape right now...I wouldn't say it's the best that it has been in a while (I think the cast was the best when Tracy Miller and Chester Gregory were still there) but it really is fantastic so anyone who hasn't seen it in a while should go!
i second the tony award wish for Michael Cerveris. And I agree..Mano is amazing. glad you liked the shows!
