VERY happy to see that this show is going to start regional performances! I am curious to see what types of changes they are going to make.

Ooooh! I'm really interested in hearing about the changes they made. Women on the Verge has always been one of my favorite movies ever since I first saw it when I was about 13. And, though flawed, I really enjoyed seeing it onstage.

I really love the score. Hopefully the restaging will fix it!
I enjoyed seeing it onstage - even as I was telling myself "this isn't very good, though!"

As long as all of the music is saved and the full version of "Shoes From Heaven" restored, that would be great. The book really needed help.

^ Many people in both the cast and crew have actually been open about that in interviews. They definitely are proud to have been a part of it (well, most of them at any rate) but I keep hearing things like, "I wish we'd gone out of town" or "I wish we'd had two more weeks" or "We felt frustrated because we felt so close to getting it right."

I have "seen" the show, and burned out my cast recording and multiple audios.
I honestly love this show to death. It's SOOOOOOOOOO close to perfection. Can't wait to see what happens.

This is really the perfect theatre to do this show--the space is big enough to be right for a traditional musical comedy, but the thrust-setting forces each production to focus more on the relationships than the big "wow" moments. I'll be very interested to hear who is cast, although I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to see the show.

The Theatre at the Center is so hit and miss though. This could be great, or this could be kinda clunky. The current season hasn't been great, and next season is full of shows that no one has heard of. I don't think they are doing too well, which sucks since they are literally blocks from my house. Hopefully this turns out to be a good choice for them, and hopefully they do well with it.

I loved the show on Broadway and it was my favorite show of its season. I may have to check out this production just to hear the score again, though I know I just won't have that same experience with the show as I did with the amazing Broadway cast. Loved every second of it.
