RE: Revivals I'd like to see = I wish someone would bring back Parade. It was so fantastic, and it just didn't make it commercially, which is too bad (but I understand this - its Fluff that panders to the masses - not Art...heavy sigh...)...for the most part, I want no more revivals. I want to see new and interesting stuff - rich and dramatic and singable. I haven't liked much in the recent past, other than Avenue Q, The Allergist's Wife, The Last 5 Years (brilliant)and a few other small pieces. So to you up-and-coming writers out there I say this - DON'T STOP!...We need you and your work, and don't let anyone tell you to change things for commercial reasons - unless you're simply in it for the money.
Best of luck to anyone involved in today's theatre. I miss it.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"
Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
