Wow. Can't believe no one else has seen this or commented. I just got back from tonight's performance, so I will.

Important, exciting, upsetting, exhilarating, incredibly moving. How do we use language? Wield it? Twist it? Invert it? These are the biggest questions being addressed in the play and the answers are never provided. Rather, we're witnesses to a collection of vignettes that address some of the ways language fails us on a daily basis, with a specific emphasis on language toward and about women. All four actors are totally game (with Jennifer Ikedo being a particular standout) and absolutely nail the complexities of the text. My friend and I were in a haze leaving Soho Rep and I don't think I'll ever listen to people speaking the same ever again.

Absolutely see this if you're able.
