Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

Posted: 3/23/06 at 2:52amanother question.... i see they have partial viewing from the orchestra where the mezzanine blocks the view... does anyone know if these are good seats or not? i'm trying to buy tickets to Tarzan and am wondering if i should sit there... oh and 2) how are side views... are they any good? i just want to make sure i get the most out of my money (in terms of seats not quality of the show)... thanks...

Don't know about the side views, but I would say avoid the partial view rear orchestra seats - they're terrible, and you can only see roughly the bottom half of the stage.
During MOVIN' OUT (to give you a reference point), the band on the second level of the set was not visible from most seats in this section. Front mezz is the best at ANY theatre.

The Richard Rodgers has the worst rear orchestra on Broadway. (The odious Marquis coming in a close second). That ridiculous incline really irks me. And for a show like TARZAN where (I imagine) a lot happens off the stage itself, I can't imagine a worse place to sit. I can't see people paying top dollar for a spectacle if they can't see the spectacle.

Posted: 3/23/06 at 7:24pmI had a choice of front row mezz---on the side or second row mezz in the center and I chose the latter. I hope I made the best choice.
