I can't picture it. But I am willing to be proven wrong (I have not seen him do more than like two or three things).
Does anyone have any opinion on this?
never seen his work but looks a little heavyset for the role to me

I'd rather see Robert Evans (The Kid Stays in the Picture!)

heavy set? Have you seen recent pictures of Joey Fatone? That's one plump Seymour!
ddtruitt--you getting ready for 'the opposite of sex' the musical with that picture?
He was devouring the scenery in Johnny Guitar, so he might just be perfect for LS, as the dentist. What a ham.
He a very talented fellow. I'm sure he will do just fine. What I'm not sure about is Joey Fatone and the casting rumours about Audrey.
He'll probably be fine. Won't woo anyone at the box office, though.
Much like Sills, Rob Evan is rather over-qualified for the role. Having fallen in love with Sills in Pimpernel and Much Ado About Nothing, it was a bit painful to see his vast talents so sparsely used in Little Shop. Rob Evan, though less of a name, brings the greatest intensity to everything he does. He was the only thing about Johnny Guitar that I really enjoyed. IMHO his Jekyll/Hyde was way better than Cooch's, and if you've ever seen him perform "Anthem", you can't help but be a fan.

While I hated DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, I saw Bob Evan's only performance as Von Krolock, and he was incredible. He is a funny guy, and will probably do very well. I also saw him in JEKYLL & HYDE, and he was great in that as well.
PS - I still think that Fatone will be great. I wish people would stop hating on him.
Rob, puts 110% into everything he does onstage. His ability to throw himself into a role is enviable. I am thrilled for all good things that happen to this guy! 'Nuff said!
ps. I'm just glad his take-over is after his debut in Wildhorn's J&H in Concert in June!
I agree that he'll be terrific in the role. Also agree that he was a better Jekyll than Bob Cuccioli.
