Robin Williams received raves from the critics on his performance in Bengal Tiger and the Baghdad Zoo and a great Pulitzer Prize show too.
Robin Williams was robbed big time, period. What is wrong with these people who nominate these shows/actor/actress anyway?
Tony awards apparently are very political and have very little credibility in the area of nominating processes.
Robin Williams was point blank robbed! Big Time.

Posted: 5/3/11 at 6:56pmThe problem is, his is really a "featured" as opposed to a lead role; but he couldn't be nominated in the featured actor category because of the ridiculous TONY rule that if your name's above the title, you're a lead. This is why Al Pacino and Brian Bedford received Leading Actor nominations, even though Shylock and Lady Bracknell are really "featured" roles rather than leads. Williams is good in the play; but he never gets a chance to do his Robin Williams thing -- nor does Chris Rock in THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT. So, both are disappointing audiences. Which is why neither is nominated.

yeah... no he wasn't. robin williams was just fine in bengal tiger. whereas the five nominees were all remarkable in their roles.
did you see the other plays? while robin williams did a good job, he is nothing compared to the people who were justly recognized.
