Rock Of Ages rush

Anyone here have any luck with the Rock Of Ages rush tickets.

Safe to say they are extreme side seats? Does it even matter if they are, given the theater size & stage design?

Any recent info/exeriences with this?

Would I be better off trying for a rush ticket or getting a "cheap" mezzanine ticket?

I haven't seen Rock of Ages yet but when Avenue Q was in that theater the rush was generally front row.  You can try looking up pictures of the set to see if the sides would be any issue but it really is a very small theater that shouldn't obstruct unless there's a set piece there.

I haven't done the line yet but I doubt it's the same as Avenue Q as this rush is of the 2-hours before curtain variety.

I think there is another thread about this, but I did Rush last week of july on a sunday after a matinee of Waitress. Got there 1:45 before curtain, and I got one Rush ticket, If i remember correctly it was Row D 4th seat from the side. Perfect view. Hope this helps.
