I, also, just heard a rumor that there will be a Jesus Christ Superstar revival. Any truth/more info on that? I know there are controversial, loud-mouthed people on social media, who start these kind of rumors. So, I wanted to check here and see if there is anything substantial behind that rumor. (I know some people here are particularly passionate about & knowledgeable about JCS, in particular.)

I'm loving what I'm hearing on these individual songs!They really let the songs rock & flaunt their 80s aweomness! The drums, guitars and synths are prominent in all of that places I want them to be!Maybe it's the clear sound on these recordings & and optimal mixing, but the songs almost sound better here than they did at the Imperial in January!

Any hunches/intel/rumors, about what’s next at the Imperial?

I was just reading some posts, across various sites, about people hearing bad audio & having a hard time making out what the actors were saying throughout Operation Mincemeat (notably in the mezzanine). Is that still the case, or have the sound issues been improved?I’m going to see the show in a week and a half, and I have a seat in the last few rows. Should I really expect to have a hard time following the story, etc? (If so, is there anything I could/should do to aid this situation?)Thanks

A traditonal musical?A rock musical?A pop musical?Thanks to this board, I have become a fan of Chess & gotten quite excited for the (supposed) revival we will get this fall. But, I keep trying to figure out how to categorize the show. - I want to call it a rock show, but the beginning of Merano doesn't sound too rock...or even pop...at all! - But, The Arbiter certainly isn't classic Broadway.So, what exactly is Chess?
