"925"? We can't be bothered typing "to" any more?

Feel free to type TO when ever you want.
lol- I still don't get why that bothers anyone.
It's just a message board, it's suppose to be informative and fun.

JerseyGirl2,

Contestants' posters were photographed yesterday and contest organizer contact information given to them if they were not regular attendees of "Rock of Ages". (Almost all of the posters in contention for a prize were created by regular attendees recognized by TPTB, cast and/or those associated with the contest, so asking names were, for the most part, unnecessary.)

If there had been a prize-worthy poster without an artist attached, the powers that be would simply post a photo of it a la "putting a face on a milk carton" to identify it.

There are always ways of identifying people! :)

And btw, JerseyGirl2, thanks for entering! Sorry the t-shirt guy was mocking you!

>>so asking names were, for the most part, unnecessary

Interesting way to run a contest.
But I have seen how they run contests.-LOL

>>Sorry the t-shirt guy was mocking you!
Good thing I'm not insecure-LOL
& it was my poster he made fun of not me.

ETA
I see they posted the winners-
Those were my top 3 too.
I knew I had good taste.

I just think it looks weird. Usually, acronyms are used to be more efficient, but it just looks like "nine hundred twenty-five" or "nine twenty-five". "9-5" makes more sense and is the same number of keystrokes as "925".

OK-
but what difference does it make as long as you understand the meaning?

It doesn't make a difference. It just doesn't really work as a cutesy trendy acronym. It's "nine twenty-five". It's like referring to September eleventh as "911" instead of "9/11". Nine to Five is "9 to 5", "9-5" or even "9-2-5", but not nine hundred twenty-five or the abbreviated nine twenty-five. It ain't fetch.

I agree with Matt. It took me a while to realize it wasn't the number 925.

Lizzy, every time I've clicked on that link, I get a blank screen saying I have reached that page in error. Has anyone else had this problem?
