Rock of Ages OBCR?

I've read on several different websites that Rock of Ages cast is in the process of recording its OBCR, but does anyone have any idea when it's to be released? Or has anyone heard any rumors about when it's to be released? I need that cast recording!

I think we need a new category for the Grammys:
Best Bew Original Score on a Cast Album,
Best Recording of a bunch of already recorded songs strung together for a Broadway Show.

ROA was recorded by New Line Records (and I believe they are also recording the movie soundtrack). This may shock some of you, but I will be buying this original cast album.

I heard it would be available in 4 weeks from when they recorded it- and that was over a week ago.

I heard It was produced by the guy who did Guns & Roses "Appetite For Destruction" so it sounds like they're doing it right. A real rock album. can't wait!

JerseyGirl, the dates have indeed changed. iTunes release in mid-June, CD release in early July.

I'm a child of the 80's and I grew up on the music and love it. It's the show I don't know about

It is currently #16 on iTunes Soundtrack (they lump soundtracks and Cast Recordings together - philistines! LOL) chart.

Not bad for a pre-order...
