Jason Tam played Young Eponine on occasion in LES MIZ on Broadway in the mid-'90s.
"Eva Péron in EVITA"
You have the acute accent on the wrong letter. It should be Perón.

When Kenneth Branagh's Shakespeare company toured the U.S. in the 1980's, his then-wife Emma Thompson played the Fool in King Lear.
Other Shakespeare roles played by both sexes include Ariel in The Tempest and Puck in Midsummer Nights Dream.
It's also become commonplace to have Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest played by a man.
