Might be a bit of a stretch, but I would love to see Karen Olivo as Maria in West Side Story someday. And though it wouldn't exactly run the gambant of all her talents (unless musicalized...hmmmm) I could actually see Laura Benanti as an excellent Ophelia. Sticking with the Shakespeare theme, though she is more known for filmwork I think Julianne Moore would kick some asses (or at least stab some backs) as Lady Macbeth.

I agree with Adam Pascal as Judas. I'd love to see that.
How about Matthew Morrison as Chris in Miss Saigon? I'd also love to see Kristen Chenoweth as Nellie Forbush.

In an ideal world, i'd like to see the cast from the Bare Album perform the show on Broadway.
Matt Doyle as Peter.
James Snyder as Jason.
Jenna Leigh Green as Ivy.
Keili Lefkovitz as Nadia.
Christopher Johnson as Matt.
Obviously, some age shifting would have to take place haha.

Norm Lewis as Porgy, PLEASE!
(After hearing him sing a few songs from the score, I am convinced that this needs to happen.)

Its not a play, but if they continue to make more Batman's how perfect would Mary Louise Parker be as Poison Ivy?!
Also, It may be a stretch but I'd love to see Kristin Chenoweth play the Witch in ITW

I would really love to see Patti LuPone play Claire in the original [non-musical] The Visit.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Obviously, some age shifting would have to take place haha.
How much "age shifting" could you really do in a show that takes place at a high school?
Will Chase would be a fantastic Dan, second that.

I've talked to him about it and he said something like "Bobby isn't going anywhere, but you really think i could do it?" he was approached about playing Dr. Madden after the run at 2ST, i'm so glad he didn't take it, since the part was cut since the 2ST run.

This so hard.
I also think that Declan Bennett would make an interesting St. Jimmy in American Idiot. I dunno.

Raul Esparza in Sweeney Todd. I mentioned it to him a few years again while he was doing The Homecoming, but the Cerveris/LuPone version was playing at the time. He indicated that he would want to play it "down the road, sometime." IMO, he'd been the best Sweeney EVER!

Yeah, Raul has said that Sweeney is one of his dream roles. It's one of my dream roles for him, as well! Although I have a long list of things I would like to see him do some day -- near the top is Ned Weeks, again, but this time in The Destiny of Me. (The Cerveris/Patti revival wasn't playing while Raul was in The Homecoming; it closed before Company even went into previews, and The Homecoming was the season after Company.)

I've mentioned Leah Hocking for Diana before. I think she'd be great.
