I haven't seen the show, but this seems like a perfect MUNY/Roundabout/Paper Mill show.

It would have been perfect for Roundabout at Studio 54 as a limited engagement.

For anyone who cares, here are some clips from that Japanese production which opened recently. (Again, this isn't the Cole Porter jukebox musical, but rather a revival of a pre-existing Japanese adaptation of the film.)
