I agree, it's a terrible mess. The walkouts at intermission last night were legion.

Disconcertingly, Shanley and Krieger sat in the first row, and laughed at all of their own jokes. It was strange -- they were the only ones laughing. I guess the whole production is some big inside joke. I sure didn't get it.

I left at intermission. It was that bad.
