I read that 100 tickets per performance would be given out for $20 for purchase by students or educators? Where would you buy those, or will it be a rush type thing where you get them the day of?

I could be wrong but with that many tickets offered it sounds like it will most likely be advance group sales, directly with schools/educators.

Here is the wording from the Playbill article:

Producers have also announced that 100 tickets per performance will be set aside at $20 for purchase by students and educators.

No mention of groups. Perhaps when the tickets go on sale it will become clearer whether they are day-of, can be purchased in advance, etc.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

From the way they spoke about it, they made it seem like you could buy these tickets in advance.

Groups were not mentioned but when I saw Students and Educators I just assumed school trips, like I said I could be wrong. I am sure more details will be made available. They have a Facebook page but there have not been any updates since April.

I believe the intent is that they will be available in advance for all performances, but at the box office only upon presentation of student ID. The BO opens in late July per their group sales pricing memo. There is also a separate group sales price for students for Wednesday matinees as well.

Would be nice if the single student tickets could be on sale online already now, but selling student tickets properly (i.e. only to students) online has always seemed to be a challenge for Ticketmaster and Telecharge due to the difficulty of verifying the purchaser's status as a student.

From their FB page:

For ROMEO AND JULIET, students can purchase $20 tickets in advance exclusively through Tix4Students.com.

100 tickets per performance will be set aside at $20 for students and educators.

You can see the student tickets on Ticketmaster. They are far side front orch and far side rear mezz. How is the view in that theater from the far side front orch seats?
