Normally not starstruck however I thought I would mention this because nothing like this ever happens to me.
Very enthustic audience today. Victoria Clark was awesome, Kelli O'Hara and Aaron Lazar were supurb also.
I am a very lucky man to have seen such talent today.

Actually, I saw Ron Rifkin at Sweeney Todd LAST night! He's getting around!
Joel Grey was also at Sweeney last night. My GOODNESS, he is a small man!

Posted: 10/30/05 at 1:04amWhen I saw "The Music Man" revival several years ago, Nathan Lane and Victor Garber were sitting together across from me. Of course, I went up and made an awkward pest of myself by telling them how much I enjoyed their work, etc. etc. Nathan and I shook hands, but he definitely had that "leave me alone" look on his face, lol.

YankeeFan--
I don't think they were on a date (I mean, maybe they were, but I didn't think that Victor Garber was gay). They had just done "Wise Guys" (the "Bounce" workshop) together and I figured they were just two colleagues enjoying an evening of musical theater...okay, maybe his is gay, lol ("Not that there's anything wrong with that").

Posted: 10/30/05 at 8:30amWhen I saw Boy From Oz, Lauren Bacall and Liz Smith were three rows in front of me (though they didn't come to the show together). I went up to Ms. Bacall at intermission, apologized profusely for intrtuding on her evening at the theatre, and told her how much I admired her work, and she took my hand and thanked me profusely, looking extremely touched by words I'm sure she's heard hundreds of times before. She's an amazing lady!
