I have seen August: Osage County twice now, and was wondering what you guys thought about Rondi Reed's Tony chances for Best Featured Actress...
Do you think she will get nominated? If so, will she win?
I personally believe it would be a crime if she was not nominated. I think she is such a standout in this production, and truly captures me every second she is on stage.
And just for fun...
If you were a Tony voter, who would you give Best Leading Actress to - Deanna Dunagan or Amy Morton?

Hard call on best Actress, but I am leaning towards Amy Morton.
I hope Rondi Reed gets nominated. Her scene in Act III got to me. She totally brought the character together in that scene and it was heartbreaking.

My vote would go to Dunagan.
Hopefully Reed will be remembered for Featured.

Ray -
I am not sure if Morton will be considered Featured. If she is, she has that Tony in the bad. I just assumed they would both be under leading because of the amount of time they have on stage.
As far as who I would give my vote to...I'd have to go with Dunagan. As much as Amy Morton deserves it just as much as Deanna, the last scene was the deciding factor for me. It is absolutely bone-chilling (in my opinion, of course) and just broke my heart.

i would imagine the producers would want to separate Dunagan and Morton, to maximize chances of both of them winning.
If one of them does end up in the featured category...you can go ahead and engrave that Tony right now, as I don't see them being topped in that category.
If they do end up in leading, I am not sure who I would vote for (were I a voter). Morton's big line (I'm running things now!!) gave me chills, and Dunagan was consistently brilliant.
I do hope the fantastic Rondi Reed gets nominated for featured actress, though.
