Congrats Rosario! I definitely think she deserved it. Her performance really made the movie that much better.

That's exciting news for this "abysmal" (apdarcey's words, not mine) movie, which I thought was absolutely fantastic, as did 54.7% of the imdb.com users, who gave it a 10 (as I did). Rosario was excellent as Mimi, as were ALL the other cast members. (Amazing that apdarcey found the performances abominable--did they just forget everything they learned while performing them on Broadway? Hardly!)
Also very very exciting news of Satelite Award wins for Brokeback Mountain, which continues to nab acolade after acolade, and break attendance records.
Go Rosario and Rent!
