You're being sarcastic, no? I rewatched this on Thursday, and remembered how breathtakingly boring it was the first time I saw it and when I saw it live.
I really hope they fix it up before it comes to NYC. I haven't read the books either. Is is necessary for me to do so before seeing it? I don't want to be confused.
I don't have any plans as of yet, but I've been wanting to rush The Color Purple, and I'll actually have time to do that during winter break. In general, are lines much worse during that week? Do tourists know about rush? just wondering.
This is a really helpful thread. I saw See What I Wanna See (twice actually), and fell in love with it. I'm hoping to hear/see much more of LaChiusa's work, and now I have a better idea of where I should start.
