Rosemary Harris

Rosemary Harris

Here is a picture I found of Rosemary Harris back in the day. For those who do not recognize the name, she plays Aunt May in the SPIDER-MAN movies. She was HOT, wasn't she?

re: Rosemary Harris

One our finest actresses. She was the original Eleanor of Aquitaine in "The Lion In Winter" and has become one of the definitive Albee actresses in the last few years, turning in brilliant performances in "A Delicate Balance" and "All Over." She's be doing Albee's "Lady from Dubuque" later this fall at Second Stage. She's also the mother of the brilliant Jennifer Ehle. I'm happy Harris is getting some attention these days because of Spiderman -- she should be a household name.

re: Rosemary Harris

I love the movie version of "The Lion in Winter," so I can only begin to imagine what Rosemary Harris's performance would have been like.

re: Rosemary Harris

Mrs. Harris is indeed a gorgeous woman and also extremely kind. I had the privelage of meeting her a few years ago when she appeared in WAITING IN THE WINGS at the Walter Kerr with Lauren Bacall. That was an incredible night.

I met her, too! Look up "class" in the dictionary and you'll see her picture. She's a true gem.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Absolutely Beautiful. Very Classic, Graceful, and Wow. Borstal you hit it on the head. I'm a huge admirerer of class and that photo, yeah fits my definition of so. Although I will say, recently seeing the first spiderman that she aged very gracefully.
You, you are the worst thing to happen to musical theater since Andrew Lloyd Webber... and you I just don't like you.

re: Rosemary Harris

People are so enamoured of the "Lion in Winter" film, they often forget the original stage version. Besides Harris, there was Robert Preston as Henry James Rado (who later co-wrote and stasared in HAIR) as Richard, and a young Christopher Walken as Phillip.

re: Rosemary Harris

I once saw her in the Edison Diner. She looked at me and smiled one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen. There is such warmth from her.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
