www.animated-news.com reports that Rosie isn't voicing "Terk" in TARZAN II.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Once again, I must state: if you can't get the stars of a movie to do a sequel, DON'T MAKE IT.

Yes, I know Rosie wasn't the star of Tarzan, but still...

I don't even think Phil Collins is doing it neither...

disney needs to stop making 2's- walt must be spinning in his grave fast enough to form a gravitational pull. My personal fave was cinderella 2- where exactly did they go with that one?

Definitely agree. I can't think of one Disney sequel that has been successful by my standards. BTW, When is The Land Before Time 27 coming to DVD?

Cinderella 2 LITERALLY made me vomit. I was so sick with resentment for the company. That film was the worst thing I have ever seen. My stomach hurt so much after seeing it. How could they do this to such as classic story?

TOY STORY 2 was successful, financially - and I enjoyed it. However, this was Pixar/Disney.

RETURN TO NEVERLAND was OK. Perhaps I give it more credit than it deserves, with my love for the Peter Pan story. But still, better than most Disney sequels.

The direct-to-video sequels ARE awful (I had to watch the Lady and the Tramp sequel a couple years ago while babysitting.. it was horrible), but they're actually very profitable for Disney. If they weren't, they would stop making them (I wish they would stop making them anyway, though, to save we fans of the originals...).

Here is the cast for the DVD:

Famed comedian George Carlin ("Jersey Girl") joins a talented vocal cast that includes Glenn Close ("101 Dalmatians") and Lance Henricksen ("Tarzan"), who both return from "Tarzan," alongside new voices Brad Garrett (TV’s "Everybody Loves Raymond"), Ron Perlman ("Hellboy") and Estelle Harris (TV’s "Seinfeld").

Thanks for the article, Rob. Harrison Chad, from Caroline or Change is playing Tarzan. Did Tarzan speak in the first film? I can't even remember

"he’s a Tarzan!"

I hope it's better than "Tarzan and Jane". I don't even let my children have the Disney straight to video sequels. Disney should be ashamed of themselves.

...and your children start to leave you from the moment they are born.
