Rosie promises that TABOO will be back. For years she insisted that she wasn't a Lesbian. Are we supposed to believe this woman?

Feed her to the iguanas.

Is that an Iguana in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

"Euan and Carey will be back sooner than you know. Almost everyone has jobs lined up after the closing..except Sarah--who has a baby, and Euan who also has a new "baby" as well."

Wow. For someone so in the know, I'm surprised you weren't backstage with a camera handy to snap all those photos you wanted.

Sadly, I've heard from Taboo forum that Euan told someone he has to leave NY. Apparently he's very upset, but "technicial difficulties with Immigration...is causing him to not be able to take on some roles...because he can't accept work without causing problems with his Visa."

Ew I need help?

That was the height of maturity if ever I read it. You've still failed to answer my questions. I guess Michael's article wasn't FILLED with erroneous information other than the two minor points you posted about.

I was curious about that with Euan. That's sad, but I'm sure he'll find a way to come back soon. Or, hopefully at least.

As for Cary, I hope he gets another job soon as well, so long as it isn't Rent again. I'd like to see him really move on from that.

And while on Cary, it shouldn't surprise me how many comments the tightie whities get, but it still seems like overkill. He's only in them for about three seconds, and being as discreet about it as possible, yet it gets more comments than a number of other aspects of the show. I guess pantless performers are always going to be a draw.

That article made me really sad. I loved Taboo!! I wish all the luck in the world to the cast and everyone involved.

Well, I think we've all seen what Rosie's promises are worth. Don't anyone hold his breath. She also promised she'd keep the show open until Tonys....

I don't think Rosie's hesitation to come out of the closet publicly is an issue of trust. That's a completely personal issue and every person needs their own time. Some have more to lose than others when it comes to the repercussions of openly admitting your sexuality. I would never fault her or any other gay person for their hesitance in coming out. It's not the easiest thing in the world to do.

I do fault her for raising false hopes with these promising proclomations of success for Taboo. It's one thing to be supportive, it's another to get peoples' hopes up when you cannot guarantee the results.

I am sick of all this Rosie ccrap!!!! I am sorry...but I think she is a wonderful woman. She has hopes and dreams for a passion in her life ....you say "lets get her"? What is is wrong with that? She has such a passion for this show...and sure most of the time she talks with her heart instead of her mind. Which is probably why this show didn't get the recognition it deserved (a lot of passion, but not a very strategic plan on anything else) Let her have the hope with everybody else! What is wrong with that. I know it might not be on broadway or off broadway for a while after feb 8, but I KNOW it will be back. Everybody agrees that the score is fantastic. With the right people...(people that lead with their brains ALONGSIDE their passion and money) this could be a wonderful show for everybody and not just the cult that is there now. I love rosie!!! And i will always love her. she has a passion none of us can touch (although people on this board have some of the greatest love of musical theatre I have ever seen) She was willing to put HER 10 million up for it...and guess what? It's NOT your 10 million....so let her be. Sorry...I am just sick of seeing everybody hating rosie for having the COURAGE to bring this to america AND to BACK it up with her money and such. AND she never promised to keep it open to the tonys...she said she thought it would win best tony (but that was a hope...how many of us had hoped for our favorite to win?) She did promise that she would keep it open to Jan....and did she ...yes... I am sorry for ranting...but this woman did nothing to you but be passionate for a show she likes.

Daphnerocks was correct about where Rosie O'Donnell was sitting. I checked the seating chart again and it was indeed G114, not G101. I did incorrectly spell Bobby Pearce's last name and once I incorrectly spelled Liz McCartney's last name. Thank you for pointing out those errors. I've made the corrections in the article.

As far as quotes go, everything I wrote is exactly as I heard it. It was a noisy night and I'm sure if you asked several people they would have given different versions of what exactly was said. Since recording devices are not permitted to be used in theatres I furiously scribbled down every word I heard and checked with people around me to see if they seemed accurate to them.

I was sitting in orchestra row F, seat 110, and had a clear view of Ms. O'Donnell when she gave her pre-show speech and I looked back to get a clear view of her reactions during key moments in the show, as well as a clear view of how people sitting in back or her were reacting to her reactions.

Thank you JeffG and everyone else who complimented the article. And even to those who didn't like it, thank you for reading it.

Very simply put, Cary looked hot. It was a very exciting 3 seconds for some of us.
