I mean, their original pitch for Dinner with Friends was that it had never been on Broadway before.

And now it will still never be on Broadway. So what's the point?

Probably similar to the number of people who wanted to see "Picnic" and a terrible production of a horribly outdated show, "The Big Knife."

Roundabout has consistently had terrible revivals of plays and makes some of the most bizarre choices. Its musical revivals on the other hand have been stellar lately so I can't complain too much.

Scratch and claw for every day you're worth! Make them drag you screaming from life, keep dreaming You'll live forever here on earth.

Roundabout's 2013-14 Season Announced

Could it be possible for Roundabout to have two musicals in one season? Have Cabaret at Studio 54 and have On the Twentieth Century at the Sondheim. They could also get involved with the transfer of the Menier production of Merrily we Roll Along but I wouldn't be surprised if Merrily ends up being a commercial production.
