Eh, it was her third and final return to Chicago -- she was kinda over it by the time I saw her. That being said, my favorite leads are:
Velma: Roxane Carrasco
Roxie: Tracy Shayne, Bianca Marroquin
Mama: Michele Pawk, Roxane Carrasco, Roz Ryan, Michelle Robinson
Billy: Brent Barrett, Michael Kubala, Shawn Emamjomeh, Taye Diggs
Amos: Rob Bartlett

Thats cool, CJR!
Damn, I would kill to have seen Taye as Billy!!!
and also by any chance did you see Ute Lemper when she did Velma on Broadway?

Taye was wonderful. I saw him several times.... and an absolute sweetie to boot! I think I was actually dumbfounded the first time I met him. The friend who introduced us still makes fun of me to this day because of my reaction.
I never saw Ute... but I'm not a huge fan of hers.

Posted: 8/5/04 at 9:08pmIs Ute pronounced like OOT (hoot without the H) or more fancy like OO-TAY.

Omg, Millie... I've been going crazy trying to figure how to pronounce Ute. I narrowed it down to, "Yoot", "Oot" and "Oo-tay".
And CJR, That is so awesome you run the Roxane site!!! You are really cool, I enjoyed reading your answers too those questions.

Haha thanks. I put the FAQ up a while ago when we had a huge influx of newbies and I was being asked the exact same questions over and over at least on a daily basis. The link used to be in my signature, but there's really no need for it anymore.
As for the site, I enjoy doing it. Rox is a good friend of mine and she deserves it!
