Running time for "South Pacific"?
Running time for "South Pacific"?#1

I'm going to be in town the weekend of April 5th. I'm already seeing a show on Thursday night and was thinking about squeezing in another one on Saturday afternoon (the only other time I have available.) I have to be uptown (72nd St., West side) by 5 PM on Saturday. Would I have time to see the "South Pacific" matinee and still get to my appointment? I know it's a long show.
Thanks!

Posted: 3/24/08 at 3:13pmcan you be a couple minutes late? LCT is already at like 65th street ... imo it's tight, but doable.

Posted: 3/24/08 at 3:46pmI've read the show is closer to 2:50 now, but that would still be cutting it quite close.

Hmmm, thanks--I see now on the Telecharge site that they're listing it as 3 hours long. If my dinner plans can get pushed back to 5:30, I can make it! And I'm an idiot for not realizing that of course, it's LCT, it's quite close to where I'll be (I'm actually going to something at Lincoln Center that night, but we're having dinner on 72nd St first.)
Thanks again!

Posted: 3/24/08 at 5:42pmIt was a full 3 hours when I saw it, but if you cut out before the bows and beat the crowd out of the theater.....you may only be a few minutes late.
