Rush Tickets for Les Mis

Please forgive a novice question, but I legitimately do not know when it is best to show up for rush tickets. I guess in my case, that would be for Les Mis on a Tuesday.

Thank you for your time -- trying to get my foot in the door in watching shows, but I'm not sure when I should be showing up for these things.

I saw Les Mis on a Saturday and got my tickets 3 hours before the show.

If possible, show up when the box office opens. 10 AM, or noon on Sundays.

Does this mean that you didn't even show up for the Rush tickets at 10AM? Just clarifying! Thanks for your reply!

I went on a Friday in the beginning of March, and was in line at 9:00 AM, 1 hour before the Box Office opened. I was 8th in line, and by the time they opened, there were about 15-20 behind me in line. I don't know if they limited the number of tickets, and didn't notice whether or not everyone got rush tickets.

There were plenty of empty seats at the performance, though. I'm guessing you shouldn't have a problem going on a Tuesday.

There've been times where I go to the box office an hour or so before showtime and have been able to get a rush ticket. Though, I do always get a single and think that maybe it's easier to get a spare single floating around after rush is typically sold than it is to go get two. But, that's just me.

Did it 2 weeks ago. First in line at 8 am. By 9 am there were about 30 people... go early. First people get really good front row seats.

It gets much more crowded on weekends in general, but if you are some of the first people there you often get front row, or very good orchestra seats. Well worth having to get up a bit earlier in my opinion.

I usually get row AA seats 2 and 4

I tried for last week's Wednesday matinee around 12:30 and there were none left.
