Hello all,
visiting the city this week and wanted some updates on rush for the following shows (as I checked the threads and haven’t seen any new updates posted post Tony nominations)
Girl From The North Country
Paradise Square
A Strange Loop
Was thinking of arriving around 8 am for all three this weekend, North Country tomorrow the 13th, Paradise Square the 14th and Strange Loop the 15th. Would that be a sufficient time to arrive for those shows? Based on earlier reports, it seems as though all three seem fairly easy enough/low demand to get rush tickets for without having to be there at sunrise per say, but was not sure if that had changed with Tony nominations having just been announced. Any updates are greatly appreciated!
I didn't rush in person, but had digital lottery success this past weekend for Girl From the North Country Sunday matinee (and had amazing 2nd row center Orch seats!) Just don't forget you need to enter by 3pm the day BEFORE you want to see the show - so you can enter tomorrow for either show Saturday.
I don't have experience first-hand with the other ones - I would think Paradise Square would be rather easy and not require an early line-up. Strange Loop after its huge award nomination haul might be getting busier, though, especially on a weekend.
That's a really nifty line-up of shows - good luck and have fun this weekend!
For Paradise Square and Girl From North Country, you don't need to line up in advance. They have lots of great rush tickets available right up until curtain. (Neither show ever sells more than 60-75% of the house even on the busiest nights.)
For A Strange Loop, you should line up at least 90mins to box office opening to guarantee a $47 rush price seat, but (for at least the next two weeks) they should have full price tickets until showtime. But this will get busier now that its business is starting to pick up.
