With the Jersey Boys rush gone, now Xanadu, Grease, Curtains, and Young Frankenstein, HELL even Deuce, (and i'm not counting the Disney shows or Mamma Mia), are we seeing the end of rush tickets as we know it?
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will have a rush policy. It has been announced several times already. $25 orchestra seats on the day of the performance.
And as Yankee said, DEUCE also has rush.
So it sounds like you're creating a fuss with nothing substantial to support your argument.
So what was the point of this thread?
With the title and the blatantly false information, it reads like a Riedel column.

Is the YF rush/lotto going to be row AA? After I bought cheap seats this morning, I tried to get row AA to come up on TicketMaster at any price but couldn't.
Others have posted that they bought rows BB, CC, A and B, but no AA.
Has anyone snagged a front row seat yet?
oh, i thought YF is going to have a lotto instead of a rush. I hate the idea of the "student rush" disappearing in broadway. I mean I am pissed that Grease is not going to have a rush. Guess standing room will have to do. I mean I am a college bound student in the city, but I admit its very expensive to watch shows in broadway when paying full price or even tkts. i miss the good old days when tickets weren't expensive sigh.o well.

Deuce definitely did not have rush the times I went. If somebody could indicate otherwise to me, I'd be happy to go and finally see these two lovely ladies!
I believe the rush policy at Deuce was only instituted about two weeks ago.

Is the Jersey boy's rush back?

The chances of Jersey Boy rush coming back is slim to none. The theater doesn't want to be liable to other people getting hurt. A kid got punched in the summer right before it ended. That pretty much cemented them not wanting to reinstate it... too risky.
