So I was thinking about seeing Phantom on November the 4th and doing rush. I noticed that there aren't many parquet seats left but plenty of Family Circle/Amphitheater seats available. Should I rush then or on another day? I sat in the Family Circle for Wicked and it was a pretty good view.

check that next week on Tuesday. It’ll tell you what rush is offered for the week. Not all shows have rush in Philly. The 4th is a Saturday that’s usually a day rush isn’t offered.
Phantom in Philly is on TodayTix for the 1st, 2nd and 5th of Nov at 20% off (prices are $69 and $59 I believe) plus TodayTix is offering an additional 20% off

Typically when I've rushed at the Academy of Music, I've ended up in the Family Circle or the Amphitheater or in one of the pole seats. I think they typically just give out whatever's left in those sections.

very popular shows tend not to offer rush on saturdays. Wed, thurs, sun eve tend to be typical rush nights

If you have a paper due on diversity and need to see a live performance in Philly, go to BLOOD WEDDING at the Wilma. They have a large, multiethnic cast and student tickets for $10.
Broadway Philadelphia sometimes has rush tickets on the weekend, but it's a gamble. And for a popular title like PHANTOM, I'd say don't bet on it.

Posted: 10/31/17 at 11:30amThanks everybody.I decided to jump the gun and got TodayTix seats for Sunday.Thought it would be easier to get guaranteed tickets ahead of time. Since it's an early evening show,I'll have plenty of time to finish up my paper later that night and on Monday to turn in later that day.

I've been thinking about rushing Book of Mormon at the end of this month and I'm curious what time would be good to line up? Was hoping the tour would have a TodayTix opinion, but I noticed they having had any for a previous show (ex they had a show in Providence, RI, which would have appeared on the Boston tab, but I didn't see anything the last few weeks, so doubting they will have one for Philly). Anyone rush the Kimmel recently?
