"Lea isn't the friendliest person ever. I've seen random times where she's been nice, but overall, yeah...not my favorite."
I'm sure she's friendly to her ACTUAL friends.
That said, in my various encounters with her, she's never been anything but courteous and professional.
So in the winter, not many of them come out after mats?
to coolkid11776: maybe you could write lea an email or something and ask her about it...but she might get a lot of emails like that or get creeped out or something. idk, if you do that be careful with your wording. Good luck!

There are a lot of fans, and I'm sure a lot would want to go backstage, but they're not going to make an exception for you, especially if you're not affiliated with the show or anyone in it.

You don't need a stage door map. All you need to know is that the door is to the right of the entrance when facing the theatre.
I went to a Wednesday Mat. in June, all the cast came out, even with a little bit of a rain. I got everyone's signature besides Jonathan B. Wright, he was getting his haircut and I wasn't going to wait in the rain for him.
Lea, yeah she was more reserved than the rest of them. I told her good job and she looked at me smiled and said "Thank you." She draws the line, she is just a performer and you are the audience member. There is no relationship between the two. I can understand the way she is at the stage door.

Well of course but compared to the rest of the cast, she sticks out. Also I was trying to be polite in my word choice instead of posting negative things about her that I have seen. People don't have to stagedoor, but if they do, you are right they should be courteous and professional. Lea doesn't always do this. I don't like her in the show so I don't care what she does to me, but I feel for the people who look up to her or really enjoyed her and get her on a bad day.

Don't get them anything. That's tacky. Anything you buy them they could buy themselves. It just looks pathetic. If you really want to get them something, make them something. Make a scrapbook or write a letter or poem or something.
In terms of Spring Awakening, you're dealing with a bunch of kids who have been thrust into the limelight. You have to expect that it might go to some of their heads.
