I'm thinking of buying SA stage seats?
They say I can either buy Row AA,BB, or CC, Which is better? HOW much do you mis by being on stage? Is it the same experience as a front row seat would be?
I loved sitting on stage. I didn't miss anything really, except for like...once or twice when actors were actually on the lip of the stage. definitely an awesome experience.

I just bought stage seats (row BB) and I was wondering the same thing. But just search for this topic as I am sure it has been discussed ad nauseam.
As one who saw SA for the first time from onstage seats, and have since seen it from the Orch and the Mezz, I have to strongly suggest getting seats onstage as far away from the band as possible if you're seeing the show for the first time onstage.
I don't think AA versus BB makes much of a diff, but I do think you lose a little something in being able to take in all of the lyrics when you're too close to the band. Just my opinion.

Ok, I just read that the 25 onstage seats can ONLY be at the Eugene O'Neill box office but I bought my "onstage" tickets through TicketMaster. Was that wrong??
I ONLY want to sit onstage. Are these tickets not going to be honored because they weren't purchased at the box office??
sh*t......
Can we please just make one thread about Spring Awakening stage seats? There are SO MANY THREADS ON THIS!
No, the SA website has a link to buy them through telecharge, that's how i got mine. Buying the on-stage seats online has recently been added.

The higher the number of the seat(either odd or even), the closer you are to the band. The higher even numbered seats are closest to the drummer, and are in front of the upper string players, so those may be the ones where it is hardest to hear the lyrics. The odd seats are on the piano side of the stage.
The row letters (AA, BB, CC)indicate the tier of the seats.
The odd numbers are the farthest away from the orchestra (as in the band) if I remember correctly. And, the earlier numbers (1,3,5,7) are closest to the audience and you'll get the best view from those.

SO what seats should I get
Which row is the row that is far away from the band?
You can find a seating chart at Telecharge.
The seating chart shows the onstage seating.
The band sits on stage opposite the orch side.
The closer you sit to the orch, the further you are from the band.

So Row AA is the best (Will I also have a good view)
coolkid- buy seat AA1 or BB1 or CC1 or AA2 or BB2.
Just buy the tickets.
Enjoy the show.
Honestly, you get pretty much the same view from AA, BB, or CC.. it just really depends on how close to the band you're sitting for sound quality. The smaller numbers are going to be closer to the audience, and I think that the odd numbers are the farthest away from the band. The closer you sit to the band, the more it drowns out the actual singing.
Row AA would be the closest to the action on stage but I think that how close you are to the audience affects your view more than that. You're basically seeing the show from the side, but if you're closer to the audience than you have a slightly better view. I hope you can understand what I just wrote!
Enjoy the show, it's a very cool experience!

AA2 is not for sale. Cast members sit there. The seat furthest from the band is AA4. Great view. Enjoy the show. It's awesome!
i have BB seats.. and honestly, they are all good.
i saw the show with orchestra seats and could see the onstage ones.. i really don't think any are better than the others.
and also, check the seating chart. !!!!

yeah, I'd just figured spelling out some seat numbers might save some time so I just listed 1s and 2s, I didn't want to open up the whole "what cast members sit where?" "for how long does X person sit in Y seat?" "if I want to sit next to ___ where should I sit" can of worms. :)

i honestly think that it is better to shell out the money for seats in the audience. kevin's lights are amazing and to miss the full picture visually would really be a shame. if u want to go for a second time then try sitting onstage but not for your first viewing.
