I find that odd since House of Blue Leaves will be at the Taper and doesnt close until October 19th....youre information must not be accurate
Unless House of Blue Leaves is running over a year well into 2009, I don't really see there being much of a conflict.

my mistake....I misread it as 2008 rather than 2009....I still find it odd that the Taper would bother putting out a press release for a production thats more than a year away
Well, as I mentioned, the press release has not been issued yet, and it may not show up in the papers till later. It's nice to know that people are slamming me about the news rather than thanking me for the scoop. I'll keep all other scoops to myself and my friends!

I think that's amazing news. Have been hitting myself for months about missing this in London (I'm MUCH closer to London than LA) but will seriously consider travelling to the West Coast if this will happen. I love the Donmar CD!
Getting the production to LA is a no-brainer move. About 50% of theatre audiences in LA are estimated to be jewish. It should be a big hit.
I saw it in London and it was wonderful. Above and beyond my high expectations. The Taper - newly renovated - will be a terrific space for it.
