Posted: 12/16/05 at 1:22pmI know Aaron Albano (Wicked Tour ensemble) auditioned for Chip... but does anyone know if he got cast? He's from San Jose (CA) so I wouldn't be surprised. That'd rock!

I plan on seeing it eventually, but I haven't gotten tickets yet.
And I'm CRAZY curious about who's going to be in the cast.

Did we ever confirm that this wasn't an early form of the national tour?

"It's a sit-down production, the cast has 6 month contracts."
That doesn't mean anything. A sit-down is an indefinitely running show. It is possible that they intend a six-month run in SF before touring, and it will give the cast time to decide whether or not to tour, and to give SF actors a chance to be in the show. When Show Boat had a sit-down in Chicago, the actors had six month contracts, but the show was scheduled for two years (it closed after 1 to go on tour).
