I don't see the point. We already know what happened to those musicals. Taboo crashed and burned, Caroline or Change became another critically acclaimed flop, Wicked became the biggest blockbuster Broadway has ever seen, and Avenue Q won the Tony.
First off, it's a documentary, a very good one at that. If you don't want to see it, don't go.
Second, CAROLINE, OR CHANGE was not critically acclaimed. The critics were mixed on this show and hardly stood together in showering it with "acclaim".

I just ordered my tickets, thanks for letting us know!
Strangely enough, my iTunes led me to Caroline or Change today, and I found myself listening to the entire score again, something I hadn't done in awhile.

Posted: 9/13/06 at 7:34pmI also saw the screening at the Makor but couldnt stay for the q&a. I really liked the movie...well done and lots of behind the scenes footage as well as good insights into performers and creators lives. What Tonya Pinkins went through...WOW! Buy the dvd when it comes out...so worth it.

Posted: 9/14/06 at 1:25pmWent to the screening too and loved it. There were some flaws but overall I thought it was very well crafted. Her access to these shows was really incredible - rehearsals, writing sessions, the creators and performers homes, Tony night. Very behind-the-scenes. Pretty much a theater geek's dream come true.
