Does anybody know what Shrek's rush tickets policy is? I am looking to attend tonight.
I had read on this board that some posters had gotten rush tickets to Shrek. I had tried to get them in December during the holiday time and they told me that they had no rush policy. I wondered if things have changed now that its January. Maybe that was only for the holidays.
If anybody nows what the rush policy would be for this Saturday evening please let me know. Thank you so much for your help.
The Duloc Ticket Lottery: $26.50 - 16 tickets per performance, sold via a lottery system. Entries accepted at Shrek's Swamp Shoppe (located on the third floor of M&M's World at 1600 Broadway) beginning at 9 AM each morning. Names will be drawn at random at 10 AM. Limit of two tickets per person and winners must be present with valid identification at the time of the drawing to purchase their tickets. On two-show days, both drawings will take place at 10 AM, but patrons may only submit an entry for one performance.

Don't they also have a student rush policy for $36.50?
It wouldn't make sense to have a lottery AND student rush.

^ And yet they do.
Yes--there is a student rush. I did it last Tuesday and got rear mezz center for 36.50. 1 ticket per ID. The Playbill rush website doesn't have the information for it.
And they just started it this month, btw.
Maybe it doesn't, but they do-
STUDENT RUSH TICKETS
$35 plus $1.50 restoration charge. Available on the day of the performance at the box office. Cash only. Seating is subject to availability. Limit one ticket per student ID.

Hmmmm... well, I stand corrected then. :)
How was seeing the show from that far away?
My sister rushed for her and me this past Tuesday. She got there at like a little before 11, but was told she had to have another student ID, even if I couldn't be there myself (which I couldn't, because I was at work). So she came to my office, got my ID, and then we had great seats in row O of the orch. It was very, very empty...not sure how much the Inauguration had to do with that.
Got rush for this tonight at 7:50. The seats were the last row of the orchestra on the side but the view was great! I didn't miss anything at all and had a clear view of the stage.

Yeah, how is rear mezz? I'm seeing it from there next week.
I didn't want make a new thread for this but does anyone know when they start selling the CD in the theater?

Probably mid-February, seeing as it drops in early March.
Does anyone know how fast these go? I might be interested in getting rush tickets for this if I lose the Avenue Q lottery tomorrow for the matinee.

I was planning on trying to rush on Sunday for the matinee. What time should I get there that morning if the box office opens at 12? How crowded has it been recently?
I went at about 1pm on a Wednesday and got a Orch G108 ticket for that evening's performance about 2 weeks ago.

Apparently the album is now available at the theater. It was put onto merchandising racks during the first act of yesterday's matinee I believe.
